Gorgeous Food: Home-made Donuts
posted in Gorgeous Food |This morning, on the kitchen counter of my house, I saw a plate full of small-sized-home-made donuts. No toppings. At all. But no surprise, as I could help myself to choose my very own taste–sugar snow or chocolate sprinkles (are these the right term? Gosh, I really have to learn more on food-related vocabulary). It’s a no brainer–I chose, for sure, the chocolate sprinkles.
Well, as small as they were, the donuts (I only ate three, btw) were delicious. I won’t compare them with those from Dunkin’ Donuts, of course, but I still have no idea about where that delicious taste really came from–the dough of the donut itself or the chocolate sprinkles. My stepmom didn’t use the well-known-brand chocolate sprinkles, yet those little colorful sprinkles made the donuts more ‘eatable’ (another random weird term).
It was a pity that I couldn’t really savor each of my bite as I was kinda in a rush to go for work, but truth is, the donuts were good (and for sure the carbs plus the fats were energizing)
