Lots of times, I salute this one of private TV stations here in Indonesia, Metro TV. This channel has a bunch of great programs for the viewers. And by ‘great’, I mean ‘educating’.This time, I’d like to focus on 2 short-durated programs, Green Minute and Green Fest. For you in Indonesia must have noticed these two every day. You know, in between two other programs they usually show up for about a minute. Green Minute in English (I suppose it’s originally from a foreign TV station) and Green Fest in Bahasa Indonesia. Both expose parts of green living. FYI, by ‘green’, of course, I mean ‘eco-friendly’.
The magical part of the two programs is that in only around a minute you can be educated to live wisely—that this life isn’t just about the selfish us, but about the old planet we live in.
Eventually, I’d like to quote what one green wedding planner says:
People associate green with recycling, but being eco-friendly is in everything you do.

I love this one interview Oprah Winfrey had with author Cormac McCarthy. When Oprah asked him when he usually wrote, whether when inspired or every day, he quoted what author William Faulkner said,
I write when I’m inspired. And I’m inspired every day.
So gorgeous
So are we inspired every day like Faulkner is, in terms of any element of our lives?

- Consume CO2 to fight the Greenhouse Effect that threatens our survival.
- Provide the cooling equivalent of 10 room-sized air conditioning units.

- Reduce noise pollution.

- Enrich surrounding soil.
- Prevent soil erosion.

I never watch Days of Our Lives, a famous soap opera in the States. But (now) I know that the series features a green wedding on it. It’s such a history, based on what is stated on Plenty Magazine website.
Such an irony, the living green issue is getting spread everywhere, but not all media (in Indonesia, in particular) unite to campaign that. No Indonesian soap opera kindly expose that on TV.

Yes, when I thought I was alone and friend-less, one night my friend from high school texted me, telling me that she was in the middle of laboring (!). She told me she needed friend (what a ‘coincidence’!) while in the process of ‘releasing her first child from her womb’.Really, Dear Lord always know how to move you and how to make you in tears without warning
So have you texted one of your old friends, just in case s/he feels lonely at present?
